I agreed for several reasons. On the one hand, I believe that if a person has a dream, and I can help him to achieve it, then I will help you… As I too, at one time helped when I was a young ballet dancer. This is such a personal responsibility to the profession, “corporate spirit”, if you want. Therefore, the offer of Masha I agreed immediately. On the other hand, Mary is certainly a very talented ballerina – turned out to be in a difficult situation: we only had two weeks to prepare five large programs (for her six – she is going to dance even solo room). This is a huge job! In the first round we will dance the pas de Deux from “Sleeping beauty”, which opened the recent concert. I really want to help Masha and push it to the discovery of new facets of talent that this contest was a benefit. Again, for me it’s output on the big stage, which I really miss, like any artist.
