Ukraine and Turkey have agreed to study the possibility of concluding intergovernmental agreements on cooperation in the defense sphere. This is stated in the message of office of the President of Ukraine.
It is noted that the Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky held talks with the Minister of national defense of Turkey, Hulusi Akar, on a visit in Ukraine.
“the Parties have agreed to study the possibility of concluding intergovernmental agreements on cooperation in the defense sector”, — stated in the office of the President of Ukraine.
Also the parties noted the readiness to cooperate closely in the context of attracting in June 2020 of Ukraine to the NATO program “Partnership advanced features”.
In June, the Ukrainian foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba said that Ukraine adopted the partnership enhanced NATO’s capabilities.
