The relations between Russia and the United States depends on the prosperity of the whole world. Therefore, countries cannot afford not to communicate, even if there are significant differences. This opinion during a speech at the conference organized by the Washington Center for the national interest, stated Russian Ambassador to the U.S. Anatoly Antonov.
The diplomat believes that Russia and USA are not enemies, but noted the presence of a large number of contradictions.
“It is very difficult to talk about Russian-American relations, — admitted the Ambassador. — There are opposing views on who should take the first step”.
According to him, which leads TASS, the process is “like walking around without any clear prospect to find a common position.”
