In the Volgograd region has summed up preliminary results of a survey of residents about the time zone, the press service of the regional Duma.
Its position on the question of the calculation of time expressed about 74 percent of the population, of which the Moscow zone voted 65 percent.
– Note that the decision to conduct a survey of residents of the region about the time zone was made on the basis of numerous references of citizens. The spectrum of opinion survey was quite broad, it covered all settlements, every citizen had the opportunity to Express their position. Final voting results will be soon considered by the regional Duma, – said the first Vice-speaker of the regional Parliament, Sergei Bulgakov.
Volgograd oblast switched to local time by referendum in 2018. A new survey took place from 25 June to 1 July at the same time with the all-Russian vote on the amendments to the Constitution of the Russian Federation.
