the Ex-wife of author of international bestsellers “the da Vinci Code” and “Angels and demons” by Dan brown has filed a lawsuit in connection with the fact that her husband, famous for his novels about conspiracies and secret societies led a double life during the marriage.
In a lawsuit filed recently in new Hampshire, 68-year-old Blythe brown accuses the writer in the secret squandering the family’s money on lavish gifts to their girlfriends, reports the Daily Mail.
Among the secret “ladies of the heart” by Dan brown is mentioned, in particular, a certain Dutch coach horses, appearing under the initials JP.
Ex-wife claims that the 56-year-old Dan brown has spent 345 thousand dollars to buy this woman (which is known as an expert on Frisian horses) the horse, as well as a new car, transport for horses, and to pay for the repair of her home in the Netherlands.

Describing the behavior of Dan brown as “illegal and outrageous”, Blythe said that after the couple divorced in 2019 after 21 years of marriage, she found out about his other women – including a hairdresser, a political official and his personal trainer.

According to the lawsuit, Blythe moved from their home in rye beach, new Hampshire, in 2018 after brown told her he wanted to break up with her. Formally, the divorce of the spouses having no children, took place in December 2019.
At the time of divorce, according to Blythe, Dan had “convinced” her that she is “fully aware” of the wealth that they have accumulated over the years of married life,
Blythe insists that she only filed the lawsuit to stand up for themselves and defend their “self-evaluation”: “We worked so hard together, struggling POPsgive something meaningful… I don’t recognize the person he was Dan. The time has come to reveal his deceit and betrayal. After such a great pain it is time for the truth. The time has come to correct these mistakes.”
In the lawsuit, the former wife stated that she once inspired Dan brown to throw a songwriting and practice writing, recognizing his “unlimited potential as a writer of fiction”. And she not only helped her husband to establish the key themes and ideas for many of his books, but also “served as the lead researcher, the first editor and critic and was the literary partner of Dan’s in the full sense”.
In the lawsuit Blythe claims that when she asked Dan about upcoming projects, he told her that he had nothing to work with. But, she said, she later learned that her ex-husband worked on several new projects including a television series called “Langdon”, based on the main character in “the da Vinci Code” and several other novels.
Dan brown in his statement said he was “stunned” by the charges and called the judicial complaint “written with truth.” He claims that he never introduced his ex-wife in confusion about their finances during the divorce and in the end she divorced given half of their property.
“For reasons known only to her and possibly her lawyer, Blythe brown created this lawsuit and vengeful fictional story about aspects of our marriage designed to hurt me and embarrass me,” said Dan brown.
After the release of which brought him scandalous fame of the novel “the da Vinci Code” Dan brown in 2005, made the list of the 100 most influential people of the year by Time magazine. Forbes magazine estimated his annual income at $76.5 million, and according to an article published in The Times, estimated revenue Braun from the sale of the novel was estimated as much as $250 million.
