Experts note that during the first year of presidency, Vladimir Zelensky, despite the scandals in his environment and unpopular decisions of the authorities, enjoyed the confidence of more than half of the population of Ukraine. Now the President has full trust 13%; trust in varying degrees, 28.3 per cent; rather than trust 25,4%; do not trust with 24.8%. Comparing the figures, analysts came to the conclusion that the balance of trust/distrust Zelensky for the first time has a negative value is 8.9%. In may 2019 (during the inauguration) Zelensky trusted 34.1% more people than not trusted; by November 2019, the balance had increased to 35.6%. But in January of this year, the index fell to +10.1%, and in early summer moved over the zero mark.

In his opinion, this situation became possible because of distrust of Ukrainians to anti-corruption agencies and the justice system. According to the “Social monitoring”, and 47.7% and 35% negatively assessed the efforts of the authorities aimed at combating corruption in the higher echelons (11,3% evaluated relatively positive, 1.3% of positive). In addition, 47.6% of the negatively estimated actions of the authorities to prosecute members of the former government. Another 34,2% – negatively. Progress in this direction note only 10.7% of respondents.
The war in Donbass was one of the reasons for the changed relationship to the Ukrainian leadership. 42,1% praised the actions of the team Zelensky in this matter is very negative, 38.6% of negative (relative to positive of 13.8%, entirely positive 0.9 percent).
Ukrainians were asked to rate proposed by sociologists, the list of problems of the country on a scale.
