Moscow mayor Sergei Sobyanin visited the Moscow international cancer center on the street Durov, writes “Interfax”.
It is reported that a new center was established with the agreement of the government of Moscow of the largest private medical companies of Russia — JSC “European medical center”.
“Moscow creates its cancer system, investing considerable budget in development of material base of organizations of laboratories. But also a large interest from private investors”, — said Sobyanin.
The mayor also thanked a number of companies that invested in this very difficult industry. He called JSC “European medical center” one of the biggest investors in the field of Oncology.
It is noted that the Moscow international cancer center was established within the framework of signed in 2013 an agreement between the government of the capital and JSC “European medical center”.
It is emphasized that the investments made in the project more than 6 billion rubles, of which 3 billion was spent on renovations and a further 3.5 billion for facilities and equipment center.
