The journalist Alexey Pivovarov stepping down as editor-in-chief of RTVI. As stated in the company statement, this post would be abolished.

"editor in Chief of RTVI Alexei Pivovarov from 25 June leaving his office to develop their own projects. His position in the company is abolished. The key content of the channel direction information and entertainment – will be headed by the relevant top managers," the statement reads.

According to Pivovarov, the development of his personal projects on which he focused lately, requires a large amount of time and effort, "which complicates the duties of editor-in-chief of RTVI".
