Russia wanted to create more research centres of world level in the framework of the national project “Science.” The proposal was made by the President of the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS) Alexander Sergeyev, reports TASS.
The academician has reminded that currently the country has established three centers of genomic research and the four international mathematical center. All in all, the project involves the creation of 16 such centers until 2024.
“the world-class Centres in the country could be more. And we need to plan an appeal to the government to increase the number of centers. Sciences different a lot,” — said Sergeyev.
National project “Science” is being implemented in Russia at the initiative of President Vladimir Putin. Only its implementation is planned to more than 625 billion rubles. He, in particular, provides creation in the country of 15 scientific and educational centers of the world level, commissioning research facilities class “magicians” and the formation of an integrated system of training scientific and scientific-pedagogical personnel.
