MOSCOW, 24 June. /TASS/. the Commissioner for human rights in the Russian Federation Tatiana Moskalkova told reporters that the issue of the return of Viktor bout and Konstantin Yaroshenko to Russia is discussed, but the negotiation process is not yet completed.
“Discusses the issue of returning [to Russia] Yaroshenko and bout, the question is kept confidential, not finished negotiations,” — said Moskalkova.
the Ombudsman said that is in contact with the lawyer, Yaroshenko and his family. “They asked for details not to say because while the issue is still not resolved,” — said Moskalkova.
“I Really hope that this humanitarian mission is complete. I had yesterday a conference call with Dunja Mijatovic Commissioner of the Council of Europe (COE) human rights and I put that question to her, to which she said, “You know that the United States of America is not in my competence, but in any case we will raise”, — said the Ombudsman. However, she did not comment on, tied if the return of bout and Yaroshenko with the exchange of Paul Whelan. “To me, this issue was not discussed officially, so I can’t comment on this issue”, — concluded Moskalkova.
