John Bolton planned to write a book “the Room where it happened: a memoir of the White house” being the assistant to the President Donald trump on national security. He told about it on air of TV channel Fox News Channel.
Bolton was asked about how he reproduced in his book quotes officials without using notes, which had to destroy after retirement. “I have a good enough memory,” said the former aide. According to him, the memory helped him to write another book – about work in the administration of the 43rd U.S. President George W. Bush, writes TASS.
Bolton insists that his records of meetings at the White house was burned together with the other documents to be destroyed. “I never took nothing,” he said. However, the US Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin already expressed the suspicion that Bolton could not give all the records made during the secret meetings, and use them when working on his memoirs.
