Heat waves are projected in Moscow and other regions of the Western half of the European part of Russia on Friday. Temperatures will reach 31 degrees Celsius, which is 4-5 degrees above normal, said the scientific Director of the hydrometeorological center of Russia Roman Vilfand.
"Changing circulation, and Friday the background temperature is 25-30 degrees. And so on until the end of the week. This applies to the Western half of the European territory of the country," he said.
According to Vilfand, this background temperature on 4-5 degrees above normal.
According to the hydrometeorological center, in Moscow on Tuesday, is projected to 17-19 degrees Celsius, Wednesday and Thursday – 23-25 degrees Celsius, Friday – 25-30 degrees Celsius on Saturday and Sunday – 26-31 degrees Celsius.
