Scientific Director of the hydrometeorological Roman Vilfand said the Russian regions, where the temperature reached record levels. It is reported by RIA Novosti.
So, the extreme heat has been observed and is projected in the Asian part of the country.
“That’s unusual, it’s North, but keep in mind that there is anticyclonic weather,” — said the forecaster.
According to him, in this part of Russia the temperature reach 25, 27 and even 31 degrees. Such high temperatures were in the North of Yakutia, Chukotka, now the heat is moved to the West.
“On the Taimyr Peninsula, Yamal-Nenets Autonomous region the temperature will exceed 25 degrees,” he said.
As noted Vilfand, the temperature on the North Asian part is much higher than the temperature in the South.
Earlier Vilfand reported that residents of some regions of Russia in the night of Sunday, June 21, waiting for temperature drop to subzero values. According to him, frosts are expected in the Tomsk, Novosibirsk, Sverdlovsk, Kemerovo and Omsk regions, and also in the Perm region — where at night it could get cold to minus two degrees. As said the weatherman, similar weather conditions at this time of year has developed in Russia very often.
