Flight attendants American Airlines humiliated blind woman with disabilities on a flight from salt lake city to Charlotte, inviting her to hop to the bathroom on one leg. The details of the incident publishes the Daily Mail.
According to American women Tammy Spears (Tammy Spears), which has no legs, she traveled to North Carolina to visit relatives. The woman warned the representatives of the carrier that she needed additional equipment to move around the plane, however, the company did not fulfill its requirements.
When the plane took off and Spears wanted to use the restroom, she asked the flight attendants to help her, but they asked the passenger to independently get to the toilet on one leg. “I explained to them that I can’t go, I have an amputated leg. Then the stewardess asked me to crawl on the floor that I had to do,” says the American.
In the end, the woman managed to get to the restroom, however, according to her, this humiliation is not over, and the flight attendants began to undress her right in front of the first class passengers. Then an employee of American Airlines insisted that the passenger used the bathroom with the door open.
After the incident, Spears has filed a lawsuit to the airline to reimburse her $ 75 thousand in damages. She too called the incident humiliating and unacceptable.
In June 2019 the staff of Ryanair has not provided the passenger with a disability wheelchair, after which the tourist has broken his arm. Stewardess banned tourists to pee in a special container and forced him to go to the bathroom. There is a disabled person slipped and broke his arm. Now he intends to sue Ryanair.
