As stated by the Deputy of the lower house of the Russian Parliament from the Republic of Crimea, member of the Committee on energy Mikhail Sheremet, any attempts of Kiev authorities production of hydrocarbons on the shelf of the Black sea stopped.
According to the Russian parliamentarian, to address relevant issues in Kiev needs to carry out the demarcation of borders in the black sea basin, coordinating them with Moscow.
“Any attempt to interfere will be considered by our side as an act of aggression against Russia,” – said the Deputy.
He also believes that this issue should be resolved at the level of the foreign Ministry of the spirit States, taking into account the Russian status of the Peninsula.
Earlier in the Ukrainian oil and gas company “Naftogaz-Ukraine” has announced plans to resume production of hydrocarbons on the Black sea shelf. The company’s management noted that, after the Crimea became a Russian region, “Naftogaz” has stopped the development of fields near the Peninsula.
