in 2009 the brothers-artists Frank and Patrick Riklin created the idea very unusual hotel called Hotel Null Stern (“Zero star”). The hotel consists of a bed with bedside tables and lamps located in the old bomb shelter near the town next to sevelen in Switzerland.

However, in 2017, the brothers decided to go back to your project, it is significantly changing. Null Stern Hotel has opened its doors to guests, but this time under the open sky.
In 2020, the brothers expanded the business and opened several hotel beds in different tourist destinations all over Switzerland. The hotel is run by locals who are welcoming and “inhabit” guests, organize breakfasts, Lunches and dinners, as well as monitor the cleanliness “rooms”.
According to the authors of the project, their hotel is designed for travelers who can’t decide how to spend the night in a luxurious hotel or in nature. Despite the minimal number of facilities, Null Stern Hotel is not at all cheap. One night for two (including Breakfast) will cost 275 euros.
