“I was in the program, Ivan Urgant, and he told me that I was the most Russian among foreign women. I told him that I have no doubt. And I said that Putin would have to give me citizenship. I said it as a joke, not as a request for that to happen, but of course, I would love to get Russian citizenship,” she said.
Oreiro said that Russian fans often give her a souvenir passport. “Today, I have a lot of Russian passports, which I gave the fans, about 15. But they’re not real,” — said the singer.
Natalia Oreiro was born on may 19 1977 in Montevideo. At 16, the young actress moved to Argentina, where her career has blossomed. At the turn of the 2000s, years Oreiro became known worldwide thanks to the Argentine television series “Wild angel”, where she played the role of Milagros. She combines her acting career with music and released four Studio records.
