An earthquake of magnitude 5.0 on the Richter scale recorded in the Pacific ocean off the coast of the Kamchatka Peninsula, reports the Kamchatka branch of the geophysical service RAS.
Its epicenter was located 140 kilometers from the village of Ust-Kamchatsk with the population of about four thousand people. Hearth lies at a depth of 29 kilometers.
