The head of the Roscosmos, Dmitry Rogozin on air of radio “Komsomolskaya Pravda” has declared necessity of creation of a new Russian orbital station.
“Russia as a country that has always been a leader in the creation of orbital stations, needs to begin work immediately on creating a new space station,” he was quoted as saying by Interfax.
According to the website kp.ru Rogozin said that “it is not yet clear what will be the new station, international or national”
According to him, this issue will solve soon. He added that “the technical preparations should start now”.
Earlier Roscosmos said Russian module Nauka is ready to be sent to the International space station to the second quarter of 2021.
