Gamalei, Russian Ministry of health (NIZAM) was tested by its vector vaccine from COVID-19, and the experience was a success: the immune system is, the negative effects are not detected, reported “Interfax” Director of the center academician Alexander Ginzburg.

Responding to a question about whether there were side effects, the academician replied: “No. All alive, healthy and happy”. He did not specify the number of colleagues who have injected themselves with a vaccine, however, according to him, this is a wide range of the center staff, the developers, the organizers of preclinical studies and technologies.
Gunzburg explained that we are talking about a promising vector vaccine of NIZAM based on DNA, adenovirus, in which the integrated gene of the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2. Adenovirus is used as a “container” to deliver coronavirus gene in a cell, start there protein synthesis shell of a new coronavirus (the same “crown”, through which the coronavirus got their name) and “introduce” in this way the immune system with a potential enemy. Vaccines of this type are called vector.
