the Head of state recalled that they set a goal to increase the availability of free higher education. “But young people need to be other opportunities to get education to pay tuition through student loans and make it on the most favorable terms”, – he noted.
“In this regard, the government jointly with the Bank of Russia to study the question of reduced rates on educational loans from the current more than 8% to 3%,” – said Vladimir Putin.
He was also asked to extend the maturities of education loans and provide the deduction as the loan amount and interest thereon.
