Restaurants can start to be punished for loud music, and construction for noisy work at night. The initiative proposed to amend the new Code of administrative offences (Cao) of the Russian Federation in the Federation Council.
According to first Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Committee for constitutional legislation Irina Rukavishnikova, the new draft of the administrative code stipulates only liability for violation of peace and quiet in the home.
“No less than disturbing neighbors or violate the rights of Russians to rest during the night time located near the accommodation, cafes and restaurants, construction or other noisy activities in the night,” she said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
