Representatives of the medical community warned of a sharp increase in mortality from cancer in Russia.
According to the survey research company RNC Pharma and the social network “Doctor at work”, the majority of physicians (52%) drew attention to the deterioration of access to health care in the country during the spread of coronavirus. According to experts, the doctors are now overloaded, there is a mass conversion of medical institutions and disposal capacity no one for that.

Earlier, the Ministry of health informed that in Russia are less likely to die from cancer — mortality from neoplasms in January, February and March of this year decreased by 3.9% compared to the same period of 2019, falling almost to 199 cases per 100 thousand population. According to authorities, in January and February last year, cancer mortality in Russia amounted to 207 cases per 100 thousand of the population.
According to the latest information, in Russia there are 308 705 cases of infection with the new coronavirus, 85 392 recovered, 2972 died.
