The Federation Council at plenary session on Wednesday has decided to appoint the Deputy head of the Main Department on investigation of especially important cases of the Investigative Committee Anatoly Razinkina to the post of Deputy Prosecutor General of Russia.
The corresponding representation of the President earlier arrived in the upper house of Parliament.
According to the Constitution, appointment and dismissal of the Prosecutor General and his deputies within the competence of the Federation Council.
