Thus, the Portuguese biologist Ana Reboleira accidentally stumbled on the tape of his Twitter photo (above) of the centipede of his colleagues from the United States Derek Hennen. On it she saw the point (marked by red dots), similar to fungi-parasites of the order Laboulbeniales – not previously found on the centipede of the New world. Further search in Museum collections confirmed the discovery of a new species, named in honor of the “places of discovery” — Troglomyces twitteri
