According to him, this year, the country still maintains a positive dynamics in the production of agricultural products and trade development. Only over the past four months, he said, agricultural production grew in the country at 5.2 percent.

Belarus, said the industry leader, is actively involved in the development of the EAEC joint solutions to combat the effects of the pandemic. Close cooperation between agricultural ministries using the platform of the Eurasian economic Commission, he is convinced, will contribute to more effective coordination of joint actions to ensure food security, and developing operational measures for overcoming the negative factors that could occur in the global economy and establishing a long-term policy in the field of production and marketing of agricultural products.
