Russian musician Yuri Loza admired the appeal of the representatives of Ukraine at the musical show "Europe turns on the light", which was addressed by the participants of the Eurovision—2020 cancelled due to pandemic coronavirus. About this he wrote on his page on Facebook.

The international song contest Eurovision—2020 was held in the concert hall of the Ahoy in Rotterdam from 12 to 16 may, but on 18 March, the leadership of the European broadcasting Union decided to withdraw from the event in the traditional concert form.

Russia at the Eurovision song contest was supposed to represent the group Little Big c song Uno. From Ukraine was supposed to be a group Go_A c song "the Nightingale".
Next year Eurovision will be held in Rotterdam. In accordance with the rules of songs this year may not be represented at the competition next year, and the selection of artists from each country remains with the broadcasters.
