Germany cannot make independent decisions, said state Duma Deputy Sergei Zheleznyak, commenting on the refusal of Germany to release the “Nord stream – 2” from the regulations of the Gas Directive of the European Union.

According to him, the postponement of the completion was the fault of Western partners failed to agree on the issues of the pipeline in different ways, “often fictional” reasons.
Such decisions cannot be considered as a partner, says the MP.

Earlier, the German regulator has refused to withdraw “North stream – 2” from under the Gas Directive of the European Union. Nord Stream 2, in turn, announced that it would study the decision of the German regulator and possible measures to protect their rights.
Later in a press-service of the operator of project Nord Stream AG 2 said that the situation around the Gas Directive of the European Union will not affect the completion of the construction of the “Nord stream – 2”.
