the Moscow authorities bought the largest Russian company for production of medical masks – “Company innovation technologies” (WHALE). About this “Vedomosti” said the Deputy mayor of Moscow for economic policy and property and land relations Vladimir Yefimov.
the Official said that the deal took place in March, the organization produces a third of the masks in the country.
“In March we have analyzed the situation with coronavirus and understood that the city will need a substantial amount of medical masks, we knew we could face shortages in the market. Therefore, the decision was made to purchase of production facilities. Production deployed on the territory of Technopolis “Moscow”, — said Yefimov.
