Fascinating footage
Professional photographer Irkutsk Stanislav Tolstnev presented an amazing video of ice melting on lake Baikal. Footage of air show blocks of ice, gradually releasing the water of the lake.
Usually the ice on the lake opened in early may, but in the southern parts of lake Baikal, these processes begin in early April. By the end of the may-early Jun ice on the lake melts completely.
the message of EMERCOM of Russia in the Irkutsk region on may 15 on lake Baikal and reservoirs will be open to the movement of small vessels.
