Moscow urges the Polish authorities to abandon the struggle with the memory of the fallen Soviet heroes, and to take action against the vandals, said the official representative of the foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova.

Zakharov said that before the Day of Victory in Poznan on a cemetery in the area Graciously threw the plate on the grave of red army soldiers. She stressed that the actions of vandals is especially galling in view of the fact that the desecration of graves was committed on the eve of the Holy Russia of the feast, “when the whole world celebrated the anniversary of the deliverance of humanity from the brown plague”.
“Despite all the demagoguery about the commitment of Warsaw to the relevant traditions, obligations worthy of preserving the memory of the fallen on the territory of the Republic of Poland, the authorities of this country by their actions on the rewriting of history creates an atmosphere of permissiveness, tolerance. Note that in March, the business Advisor for the first time was a trial that deals with the destruction of the graves of red army soldiers – a few years ago, the city had demolished the mausoleum erected on the site of a mass grave of Soviet soldiers.
