Press Secretary of the President Dmitry Peskov infected with coronavirus, in an interview to the newspaper “Kommersant” reported that is in the hospital with bilateral pneumonia.
“Now treated at home even with pneumonia, if she, for example, one-sided. When it is bilateral, there is no choice”, — explained his hojdenie at the hospital, the representative of the Kremlin.
Peskov said that the staff of the presidential administration are tested for coronavirus almost daily, “so I had a feeling that you’re still keeping it under control.”
“And, unfortunately, became ill, one of my colleagues, with whom I spoke, and I had after may 1 to get on a mode of isolation,” — said Peskov.
According to the representative of the head of state, during the isolation one of his tests gave a positive result, soon after he and his wife Tatiana Navka appeared fever.
“And when I realized that the process is, so to speak, in the mountain, with temperature, with an unbreakable, then went to the hospital,” — said Peskov.
According to him, in case of coronavirus “the main thing is not to miss” because “this virus is absolutely bloodthirsty”. Sands explained that in some cases “light is not so much the virus itself eats, how much your body”.
“That is, starts a hormonal storm, and the immune system this virus is trying to win. And with the virus starts to eat away at the lungs. And hence the effect of this "frosted glass". This can lead to thrombosis of the lungs,” he explained.
Peskov said that the return to work duties as soon as I get better. According to him, he handed the business over to his Deputy.
