the Prohibition to participate in elections for all posts will relate to persons who at the day of voting not removed and outstanding previous conviction for a number of crimes of medium gravity, as well as before the expiration of five years from the date of withdrawal or cancellation of conviction. The prohibition in the case of the amendments will concern people convicted of crimes, including fraud committed by a group of persons upon a preliminary collusion, incitement to drug use and suicide, intentional infliction of medium-gravity harm to health, committed against two or more persons, and several others. In the list of articles also – the repeated violation of the law on rallies and the destruction or damage of military graves.
currently, the ban to be elected only applies to grave and especially grave articles of the Criminal code and extends to 10 and 15 years from the date of withdrawal or cancellation of conviction.
