Member of the Federation Council, former Governor of Ryazan region Oleg Kovalev has died on 72-m to year of life, reports TASS.

– Oleg Kovalyov, who served as Governor of the Ryazan region from 2008 to 2017, and then appointed a Senator from the region, died at the age of 71 years, – is spoken in the message with reference to words of the assistant to the Senator of Andrei Glazunov.
Oleg Ivanovich Kovalev was born on 7 September 1948. The office of Senator, as the representative from Executive body of state power of the Ryazan region, he was granted 19 September 2017 for a period of five years to September 2022.
