The Russian Embassy in the United States urged White house staff, who forgot to mention the Soviet victory in the Second world war, watch the documentary “the Battle for Russia”, filmed in 1943 by Frank Capraia.
In a posting on the Embassy website in Twitter notes taken by order of the American government, the film examines the need for Alliance between Washington and Moscow for the victory over Nazism.
Mandatory viewing for all staff in Washington, wrote the diplomats.
The Embassy added the publication of a fragment from “the Battle for Russia” and a link to the full version.
