The British authorities introduced a five-point scale coronavirus danger, this level in the country will begin to decline from the fourth to the third, thanks to the quarantine, Prime Minister Boris Johnson.
"To monitor the situation, we have introduced a new scale warning on coronavirus risk update which is the responsibility of the joint center for biosecurity. All levels will be five… during the period of quarantine we were on the fourth level, and, thanks to your sacrifice, now we are in a state where move to the third level," said Johnson, speaking to the nation.
He explained that the first green threat level means the absence of the virus in Britain, and the fifth – red – indicates that the national health system cannot cope with the number of infected.
The Prime Minister thanked citizens for their patience and for supporting the actions of his government during a pandemic. According to Johnson, in the near future quarantine measures in the country will actually be saved.
