TV presenter Ksenia Sobchak commented on the publication of the White house about the US victory over Nazism. In comments to the Telegram-channel “Bloody lady” she called as American administration is disgusting.
“This is certainly downright disgusting,” wrote Sobchak and provide a link to the post account of the White house in Instagram from may 8.
When the presenter remarked that one should not focus on what I said about us America. “This is also a provincialism of some, or what,” said Sobchak.
In the video, trump says that celebrating the Day of Victory in Europe (V-E Day), together with its European allies. He in particular noted that “8 may 1945, America and Britain defeated the Nazis”. In the movie the us leader did not mention Russia or the Soviet Union. This wording has caused indignation of Russian users.
The publication responded and the official representative of Russian foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova. In her words, “from among the winners of the excluded, all [countries] except for two.” The diplomat stressed that “that is intolerable”. Russia’s Ambassador to the U.S. Anatoly Antonov said that Moscow should not remain silent in response to attempts to belittle the Soviet role in the victory in the great Patriotic war.
