Some Ukrainian Instagram users protested the publication of the actress Olga Kurylenko, who congratulated members with the Victory Day.
"a Happy Victory Day in Europe! And for all our tomorrow’s Victory Day!" she wrote on 8 may.
Members from the Ukraine in the comments asked for clarification on who she believes is "our", to which the actress replied that the greeting applies to all residents of the former Soviet republics.
After these words, some users stated that they no longer consider Kurylenko a Ukrainian.
"And a DNA test showed that Ukrainian blood in me at all no," she said.
The actress said that the test showed she had the presence of Russian, Belarusian and Polish roots.
