The Chechen authorities had paid one million rubles to veterans of the great Patriotic war. This was announced by the head of the Republic Ramzan Kadyrov on his page in Facebook.
Total payments in connection with the 75th anniversary of the Victory received nine veterans. The Ministry clarified that the funds allocated public Fund named after Akhmat-Hajji Kadyrov. To the families of war participants gave 20 apartments. In addition, 435 war workers received 25 thousand rubles and 228 widows of war veterans have donated ten thousand rubles.
“We will always remember the feat of our fathers and grandfathers who won the Great Victory over fascism”, — Kadyrov wrote.

Earlier on 8 may the President of Russia Vladimir Putin has signed the decree about payment of up to 75 thousand rubles to veterans for the citizens of Russia, permanently residing in Abkhazia, South Ossetia and Transnistria. A one-time payment will get disabled and veterans of the great Patriotic war, former underage prisoners of concentration camps and ghettos, widows and widowers of servicemen who died during the war with Finland, great Patriotic war, war with Japan, and also widows and widowers of participants and invalids of war.
