Russian President Vladimir Putin noted the important role of the peoples of Russia and Kyrgyzstan in the achievement of victory in the great Patriotic war. This is stated in the congratulatory telegram of the Russian President to President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbai Jeenbekov, the text of which is published on Saturday the press service of the Kyrgyz leader.
"the Peoples of Russia and Kyrgyzstan have fought bravely against the Nazi occupiers and honored the memory of those who defended the peace on earth for future generations", – reads the telegram.
The Russian President also expressed confidence that having a long history, "the glorious traditions of friendship and mutual assistance" the two countries will continue to serve as "a reliable basis for the development of Kyrgyz-Russian relations in the spirit of unity and strategic partnership and help to solve current problems, including the coronavirus pandemic".
"Putin sincerely wished the veterans and employees of hospitals, living in Kyrgyzstan, good health, prosperity and long life", – underlined in the message of press-service.
Before the Victory Day in Kyrgyzstan all veterans on behalf of the President of the Republic and the President of Russia in connection with the 75th anniversary of the great Patriotic war were awarded the jubilee of the Kyrgyz and Russian medals.
