Two monk of the Trinity Lavra of St. Sergius died on Friday, one of them – during the treatment for coronavirus infection, reported on the website laurels on the social network Facebook.
Earlier from complications due to infection with the coronavirus has died, the chief doctor of the monastery and the Moscow theological Academy, Archimandrite Tikhon (badgers).
"Reposed in the Lord Hierodeacon Kallistos (Kosulin)… Hierodeacon Kallistos reposed in the Lord on the morning of may 8, 2020, during the treatment of coronavirus infection", – said in the monastery.
It is also reported that on Friday, on 87-m to year of life died one of the oldest inhabitants of the monastery – Archimandrite Lavrenty (Postnikov). About the reasons of his death were not stated.
