The 2024 MTB World Cup – XCO event at Val di Sole saw some thrilling performances from elite male and female riders. In the Elite Men’s Cross Country Olympic category, Nino Schurter from the Scott-SRAM MTB Racing Team took the top spot with a time of 1:18:25. He was followed closely by Alan Hatherly from Cannondale Factory Racing, who finished just 0:07 seconds behind. Mathis Azzaro from Decathlon-Ford Racing Team and Luca Braidot from Santa Cruz RockShox Team tied for the third position, both finishing 0:46 seconds behind the leader. Filippo Colombo from Scott-SRAM MTB Racing Team also finished with the same time.

Moving on to the Elite Women’s Cross Country Olympic category, Pauline FERRAND PREVOT from Ineos Granadiers claimed the top spot with a time of 1:21:04. Puck Pieterse from Alpecin-Deceuninck finished just 0:50 seconds behind in the second position, while Candice Lill secured the third position with a time of 1:13.

Loana Lacomte from Canyon CLLCTV XCO and Savilla Blunk from Decathlon-Ford Racing Team finished in the fourth and fifth positions respectively.
