For the first year of the reign of the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky and his team performed about 20% of campaign promises, said the first Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk 20 July, the TV channel “Ukraine is 24”.
“If you take a comprehensive five-year program of the President on the main points, which he voiced, we found that about 20% of the promises he made,” — said Stepanchuk.
He noted that among the promises made are the removal of parliamentary immunity, the introduction of the responsibility for the voting members to each other or the so-called “knopkodavstvo”.
The Vice-speaker added that further Zelensky and his team to solve more complex issues — to introduce systemic changes and economic reforms.
“Here we already have tried and tested answers. As they advance — view. But the President, and the Parliament has the intention that it embodied”, — said Stepanchuk.
As REGNUM reported earlier, the Verkhovna Rada Deputy from the faction “people’s Servant” Roman Grischuk told about the meeting with Zelensky, which discussed the issue of legalizing medical marijuana.
According to him, the President of Ukraine understands the necessity of legalization, but also understand the unwillingness of the population of STK this and feared the attacks of political opponents.
