More than 1.3 thousand rescuers will provide security of Muscovites in the may holidays. About this TASS said Thursday in a press-service of the Moscow Department for civil defence, emergencies and fire safety.
"In the period of may holidays more than 1.3 thousand employees of Department on Affairs of civil defence, emergencies and fire safety of Moscow and the Main Department of EMERCOM in Moscow and 400 units of special equipment to ensure the safety of the population of the capital", – reported in Department.
From the Department every day will be on duty around 450 employees fire and rescue centre, 65 rescuers and divers of the Moscow city search and rescue service on water objects, as well as 39 employees and 104 Manager of the Moscow aviation centre. To perform the tasks involved about 200 units of fire and rescue equipment, 62 boats and five helicopters.
"due To the high risk of fire helicopter crew will conduct aerial surveys. Upon detection of fires, the pilots report the remote operational services of the city and to the fire immediately sent fire and rescue units", – reported in Department.
In addition, rescuers on motorcycles will patrol the main roads, green areas and recreational areas to control fire situation. Rescuers in Moscow airports will continue to watch and meet arriving Russians.
"All fire-rescue units of the capital are ready to perform tasks to ensure the safety of the population and the territory of Moscow", – concluded the press service.
