Vasily, you are a child of the war. What you remember of that terrible time?
Vasily Lanovoy: 20 June 1941 we came to my grandfather at Odessa. And in the morning of the 22nd, when he stepped off the train, saw the flying planes to bomb Odessa. I was seven years old, the younger sister of four years old, the eldest is ten. Grandfather looked at the sky and said, “Gudeli, guily and Odessa politely”.

It is impossible to imagine how much courage and heroism it took to defeat fascism. We defended their land, their culture, their language. Time is irreversible, leave those who won us the Victory.
