As reported by “SE” head coach of the Moscow “Dynamo” Vladimir Krikunov, the legend of the “blue and white” Maltsev is now in hospital in serious condition. 71-year-old veteran of Soviet hockey for the second month is in an induced coma.
“He’s already the second month is in Germany, in the hospital, and all very hard. He is in an induced coma. Doctors then take the Sasha out of her, then back injected. But they say that everything will be fine. Let’s hope”, – said Krikunov.
Maltsev played for Dynamo from 1967 to 1984. With the “white-blue” he has five times won silver in the national Championships, and seven times he won the bronze medal.
In the USSR team Maltsev was twice Olympic champion and nine-time champion of the world.
